Dutch life sciences start-ups raised bigger venture capital deals in 2019

The Dutch life sciences ecosystem has gained momentum over the past years, leading to a growing venture capital market and bigger investment rounds. Start-up analysts at Golden Egg Check found out that life sciences companies experienced the biggest increase in funding amount compared to other tech sectors. The total of Dutch tech start-ups raised more than €1,4 billion in venture capital in 2019 which was almost a doubling compared to €748 million in 2018.
