The Future of Immunisation
Van derden29/11/21
‘Right now, vaccines are in the spotlight as never before. The big question now is: what’s next?’
We are living through a dramatic moment in the history of public health. New vaccine technologies have facilitated the development of game-changing vaccines that are helping fight a pandemic.
Public awareness of vaccination is at unprecedented levels. People of all ages are being offered vaccines, perhaps for the first time since they were children.
However, there are still many infectious diseases for which there are no vaccines, and low uptake of some existing vaccines.
On 29 November 2021, at 11:00 CET, Vaccines Today will host a free webinar to explore the future of vaccination. The event is part of our 10-year anniversary celebration. We will hear from experts in vaccine research, vaccine communication and life-course immunization.
- Prof Pierre Van Damme, University of Antwerp will discuss the key R&D advances on the horizon and who will benefit.
- Dr Daphné Holt, Coalition for Life-Course Immunisation (CLCI) will consider how COVID-19 has changed the way we view vaccination.
- Katie Owens, European Commission will explore how immunisation advocates communicate the value of vaccination and the challenges that lie ahead.
Register now to hear from these experts and take the opportunity to take part in a Q&A session with the panel.
