To establish a cast-iron innovation climate, we need a smart investment mix that accelerates growth of life sciences startups and SMEs. But budgets are under pressure. For instance, the budget of the successful Innovation Credit is exhausted as soon as it opens, on the first day of the year. Invest-NL, a new funding instrument that is currently being set up, might provide a welcome alternative funding, offering major opportunities for life sciences companies.

HollandBIO’s Biotech Thursday on April 26 will discuss how to fund biotech companies. Seasoned entrepreneurs from like Shelley Margetson and Guus Scheefhals and funding experts from Forbion, ttopstart and KWF will shine their light on this topic. After a 15 minutes pitch, there will be a panel discussion with plenty of opportunities for questions. Of course, after the plenary program, Biotech Thursday provides ample opportunities to network during drinks.
