MIT COVID-19 Challenge
HollandBIO is proud supporter of the MIT COVID-19 Challenge virtual event ‘Beat the Pandemic’. MIT is hosting a series of challenges to empower the broader community and we invite you to join actors in Massachusetts to take action on the COVID-19 crisis. This could become a great example of joining forces between Netherlands and Massachusetts, like the Memorandum of Understanding signed in the Summer of 2019 between these two areas also tends to establish.
You can join the MIT COVID-19 Challenge virtual event that starts Friday, April 3 till Sunday, April 5. This challenge is part of a series of virtual hackathons with partners from across the MIT and healthcare ecosystems. In this event, participants will form teams to generate solutions for the most pressing technical, social, and financial issues caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
The two topics that will be covered during the challenge:
- Protecting Vulnerable Populations How to protect vulnerable populations from the effects of COVID-19?
- Supporting the Health System How to support hospitals with shortage of staff, supplies, and resources?
