Program
We are proud to announce the keynote speakers:
- Arie Belldegrun, M.D., FACS, is the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Allogene. He currently serves as Chairman of Two River Group, UroGen Pharma and Kronos Bio. He is a Co-Founder and Senior Managing Director of Vida Ventures. In 2009, Arie founded Kite Pharma, a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the development of innovative cancer immunotherapies, where he served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer until the acquisition of Kite by Gilead Sciences in October 2017.
- John Haurum is an experienced biotech leader and former CEO of F-Star Biotechnology. After obtaining his PhD from the University of Oxford, his successful biotech career started back in 2000 as a co-founder of his first company Symphogen, a Danish clinical-stage antibody oncology-focused company. Currently John serves as a board member in several biotech companies. Most recently he became chairman of AgomAb Therapeutics, a privately held Belgian biotherapeutics company developing agonistic antibodies for regeneration of damaged tissues.
- Tim Knotnerus has 10 years of progressively responsible experience in the biotech and venture capital industries. Prior to AgomAb Therapeutics, Tim was VP Corporate Development at AM-Pharma where he was responsible for Corporate and Business Development of the company. In that capacity he co-led the $600M option-to-acquisition deal between Pfizer and AM-Pharma. Prior to that, Tim was a senior associate at Aescap Venture, a venture capital fund investing in European medical companies, where he was instrumental in the financing and support of various portfolio companies.
